The menu below gives you a choice of different news media. The media reports the present world history so they are be able to influence the history. In the sixties and seventies the media in the Unites States who were against the Vietnam War influenced the public opinion resulting in minimizing the acceptation of the war. How journalists writes about a situation will influence the opinion of the readers and this could lead to a change of the politics of the government in a democracy. Knowledge coming from different media prevents "manupulation" from one side and can neutralize them, at least partly. This is the reason I give a couple of links to different newspapers in The Netherlands, Indonesia, South Africa, and the United States. Also I give links to the BBC and CNN. I must agree that the chosen media do not give all the opinions of the world and at least mine, but the different approaches of the news items put the news into another perspective.
Not that I am dissattisfided about the Dutch news media, on the contrary, those media are much better, in my opinion, than those in some bigger countries which are thinking that the world ended at there borders.
